The Miami Circle is perhaps one of the oldest structures in the US at possibly 2,000 years old. There were 24 holes dug forming a perfect circle. Examination of the earth revealed numerous archaeological artifacts, ranging from shell-tools and stone axe-heads to human teeth and charcoal from fires.
I had wanted to get a picture of the Miami Circle for years but there was either not a good storm, or too many people in the area. Fortunately on this night there were few people and a nice storm.
